YooA Bon Voyage Plymouth Theme Now Available
South Korean pop idol YooA, from the popular group Oh My Girl, is making waves with her wonderful new Bon Voyage solo-single. YooA was born on September 17th, 1995 so we made a Bon-Voyage-themed Plymouth boot splash theme as a birthday-present. The "Yooa-BonVoyage" Plymouth theme features YooA in one of the promotional Bon Voyage pictures released by her record company.

Our LinuxReviews-exclusive Yooa Bon Voyage Plymouth theme requires the Plymouth "script" module (usually available as a package named something like plymouth-plugin-script). All you have to do to enjoy this fine theme is to download it:

Next, open a terminal and extract it:
sudo tar xf Yooa-bonvoyage-0.0.1.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share/plymouth/themes/
Next, configure Plymouth to activate it by setting Theme= to yooa-bonvoyage with:
sudo bash -c 'echo -e [Daemon]\\nTheme=yooa-bonvoyage > /etc/plymouth/plymouthd.conf'
And finally, you will have to rebuild your initramfs with a command like this is if you are using Fedora 31/32/33:
sudo dracut -f
or like this if you are using Debian, Deepin or similar distributions:
sudo update-initramfs -u
to activate your new Plymouth theme. Gorgeous YooA will now appear during the boot-up process the next time you (re)boot.
