Valve's Steam games store is currently having a sale on several Tomb Raider games and bundles with 70-80% rebates on games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. The 2013 game Tomb Raider and the 2014 game Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris are currently being given away at a 100% discount. There are native versions of Tomb Raider for GNU/Linux, Windows and macOS. The native GNU/Linux version works great and it is totally worth picking it up while it is being given away for free. Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris does not have a native GNU/Linux version but you can play the Windows version on GNU/Linux. The give-away ends on March 24th, 2020.

A few older games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have been made permanently available for free in the Steam games store and launcher. Other games have been temporarily available for free during campaigns. The 2013 game Tomb Raider from Feral Interactive is only temporarily being given away as part of a promotion where other games in the series are being sold at very generous 70-80% rebates. You can just launch Steam, if you have it installed, and search the Steam "Store" for Tomb Raider (or use this link to the Tomb Raider store page) and install it for free until March 24th.

The GNU/Linux version of "Tomb Raider " has pretty decent graphics.

The Windows-only game "Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris" is also being given away for free until March 24th.

"Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris" running on GNU/Linux using Steams special "Proton" Wine bundle.

"Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris" runs alright on GNU/Linux using the special "Proton" Wine bundle included in the Steam game store so you should get that too while it is being given away. You use this link to the "Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris" Steam page or find it in the Steam store by searching for "Lara Croft". Running this (or any) Windows-only game on GNU/Linux using the Proton compatibility layer does have a performance penalty so you may need to lower the settings and/or resolution to play it at acceptable frame-rates.

Warning: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris have not been made free as in free software, they are only temporarily being given away at zero price. You do not get any source code and you don't even get a native GNU/Linux version of Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris. Still, zero price is a pretty good deal for two older high quality games so you might as well pick up legal licenses for these games while it's free.
