Creative Technology Ltd is a Singapore-based technology company most famous for computer sound cards and other audio products. They are also somewhat notable for their web camera products.
Creative is headquartered in Jurong East, Singapore. They have additional offices in Silicon Valley, Dublin, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
Linux Support[edit]
Creative does not care about Linux users, not even a little. They do not provide Linux drivers or support for any for their products. Many of them are supported nevertheless thanks to third party drivers.
Sound Card Support[edit]
The Linux kernel has support for many of Creatives sound card products thanks to independent efforts by the ALSA developers.
