Aurora is a PC scene demo released by Excess at the Revision 2018 demo party. It won 4th place in the Revision demo competition that year. It's not the best PC scene demo ever created, which is probably why it only won 4th place. It's also not boring, it's perfectly fine, it's just not very exceptional.

HOWTO Run The Demo[edit]

Aurora is available as a Flatpak at https://github.com/excess-demogroup/even-laster-engine/releases/download/aurora-party/e-aurora.flatpak. Download it, run

flatpak install e-aurora.flatpak

to install it and, once it is installed,

flatpak run xyz.kusma.aurora

to run the demo. It opens full-screen, and there does not appear to be any way around that, so you would have to use something like gamescope to run it in a window at a desired resolution.

Windows users can download E aurora final.zip (19 MiB) and run the .exe file in it.
