V2-ray is a VPN-like piece of software. V2-ray is clouded in gibberish and mumbo-jumbo so that no one is supposed to understand that V2-ray is no more than a glorified tinyproxy or squid.
In other words, V2-ray helps to hide your IP like a VPN and might tunnel GFW, the great firewall of China. Streisand contains V2ray.
Like there is a large VPN industry selling pseudo-anonymous connections, some now offer V2ray "anonymity" similarly.
