It's very hard to find really nice terminal fonts. Here are some screenshots so you can see what a few of the terminal fonts who are available on most GNU/Linux systems look like (These are included in Gentoo, much likely most other distributions).

Aterm[edit | edit source]

aterm -fn "*-*-fixed-medium-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1"[edit | edit source]

aterm -fn "-monotype-andale mono-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-1"[edit | edit source]

aterm -fn "-xos4-terminus-medium-r-normal--14-140-72-72-c-80-iso8859-1"[edit | edit source]

MrEcho's favorite, available from http://www.is-vn.bg/hamster/jimmy-en.html

Large fonts[edit | edit source]

aterm -fn -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--25-180-100-100-m-150-iso8859-1[edit | edit source]

This is nice for doing presentations and that sort of thing where you need a larger audience to see what is going on.
