Samsung is gigantic a South Korean corporation who builds skyscrapers, ships, hospitals, electronics, tanks and so much more it is mind-boggling.
Samsung alone accounts for around 20% of South Koreas GDP.
Samsung Electronics[edit]
Samsung Electronics is a Samsung subsidiary specialized in electronics. This is the company most westerners think of when they hear Samsung since they tend to be familiar with Samsung phones, televisions and other electronic equipment.
Samsung Electronics is the subsidiary who makes SSDs, RAM and other electronics found in many computers.
Samsung Electronics is in reality a small part of Samsung.
Other subsidiaries[edit]
Samsung makes military equipment like tanks. They build super-tankers and other ships. They build skyscrapers. They are heavily involved in medical research and they have their own hospitals.
Whole books can and probably are being written about this South Korea based multinational giant.
