very smooth and stable

wow, I had zero problems with btrfs in kernel 5.4 – cloned 150 GB then did check with zero errors. balancing also went well. this is a great and stable fs!--Nn (talk) 05:51, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

butter fs is king

dude on kernel 5.4 I am total fan of butter. no letdown whatsoever! butter saved my daily driver disk of 200 GB . totally WOW! and it was just a € 30 disk yet 100% data retention. SANdisk + BTRfs = miracle performance ! I have an old original IBM disk that fared less well.

Oracle, Fujitsu and SUSE

dude, thats 3 hot countries lined up there: US JP GER !

'Security' Heading Misunderstands `btrfs scrub`

`btrfs scrub` does not function as is described in the section; rather than "checksum[ing] all your files," `btrfs scrub` verifies the checksums of data and metadata in the filesystem in order to identify potential corruption of on-disk data representation. This is not a security feature. Any ordinary write to the filesystem - such as in the event that some nefarious actor "patch[es] your binaries" - will update the checksum metadata as well. Removing this, because it's nonsense.--anonymous (a121cc4e29) 14:02, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
