Any personal information you voluntarily submit to us by e-mail, including but not limited to your full name, e-mail address, phone number and date of birth, will not, even where required by law, be released to any third parties without your prior expressed permission. There are no forms or other means of providing such information on this website.

5.1. Cookies

  • LinuxReviews uses a minimum for cookies. LinuxReviews does not use it on any of the normal mirrors, cookies are only used when verifying payments for advertisement space purchased on-line.
  • Banner ads served by third parties may contain cookies. LinuxReviews does not control cookies created by third-party banner ads.

5.2. Personal information about you collected by us

- Like most web sites, this site makes access logs which store information about the IP addresses of visitors, the pages visited, and the type of web browser used. This information is used to count the readership of the various sections of the site, tailor content to better suit readers, fix broken links and so on. The information cannot directly identify you, although it should be noted that the IP addresses that are logged could potentially be traced to service providers and possibly your specific account. LinuxReviews will not use this information to attempt to trace any individuals except when tracing the source of illegal cracking attempts and/or denial-of-service attacks.

Banner ads served by third-parties on LinuxReviews may also store access logs for visitors who download those ads. LinuxReviews does not control access logs for third-party banner ads.
