Xterm tips
Quick tips on using Xterm
Press CTRL plus left, right or middle mouse button to get the Xterm menu.
- Ctrl + left for Main Options
- Ctrl + right to select Font
- Ctrl + middle for VT Options The menu is self-explanatory. As usual you can select text to make it instantly pasteable with the middle mouse button. xterms manual page Handy shortcuts that work in any terminal:
- Ctrl + D Closes the window (logout)
- Ctrl + L Clear the screen (same as clear)
