Firefox 1.0.3 and Mozilla 1.7.7 released, features important security updates

3 critical and 4 moderate security-related bugs are fixed in version 1.0.3. Both Linux and Windows users are affected and are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible.

Firefox is growing in popularity and black-hats desire to target the browser is increasing. Nine security problems are fixed in version 1.0.3, three of them are rather bad. You really should upgrade Firefox if you use this browser regularly. Some of the issues also apply to the Mozilla browser, both Mozilla and Firefox are based on the Gecho rendering engine and share a large portion of the code base.

Happy upgrading, may the source be with you.
