Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1 released, fixes security issues and some bugs.

The new release is said to be more stable and more secure. It features much better tab-management and it now, for security reasons, show international domain names as unicode.

The IDN (International Domain Names) standard allows DNS falsification, meaning you can be tricked into thinking you are viewing a known site while you actually are at a fishing scam site. Firefox 1.0.1 now shows where you are in Unicode unless you manually change the network.IDN_show_punycode setting (availalbe by entering about:config) to false.

Firefox now has a feature we know many have been longing for: Applications who invoke Firefox can now ask that they are opened in new tabs instead of new windows.
