Firefox 1.0 Release Candidate released
The release candidate for the upcoming 1.0 version of the extremely popular web browser Firefox is available. Improved printing, new toolbar button icons and better tab management is the new highlights.
The improved tab management allows you to specify how tabs should be managed when you open links from external applications like mail clients and instant messaging programs. These settings are now available in the Options -> Advanced -> Tabbed Browsing.
The icons used in the graphical user interface have got a makeover and now look slightly better.
About 250 bugs are fixed since the last preview release. Things like searching (did not work in the first preview) works perfectly. Some bugs still remain, and the Mozilla Foundation suggests that you may want to wait until the final version is released next week on November 9 th. Obviously, the more leet users should emerge it NOW.
