Two new Internet Explorer security holes found

A pair of vulnerabilities to Internet Explorer allows it to be exploited by a single click on a malicious web page.

According to Computerworld Microsoft Corp. has been aware of since August 2003, yet there is currently not fix available for these security holes and the only advice for Internet Explorers is to disable Active Scripting and Java-script support for all but websites you trust who explicitly require them to be enabled.

Details about the exploit can be found in the securityfocus BUGTRAQ ARCHIVE and you can get a demonstration of the vulnerabilities at http://62.131.86.111/security/idiots/repro/installer.htm.
